June Greetings to Go Guest Artist

Just so that you know, I haven't gone missing... just really busy. June turned out to be extremely busy. You can go here to see what I've been working on this month. I was excited when Club Scrap contacted me to see if I would be June's Greetings to Go Guest Artist. So much fun!

I was also gone visiting my oldest daughter and her family to stencil on my granddaughters wall.

4 of Spades Challenge

I was able to make another card this month using part of the background I had made for the last card I shared. This card is for the Idea Deck challenge at The Club Scrap Forum. I used bits and pieces of old retired kits by Club Scrap. The paper is from 2 different kits as are the stickers, so I think I used pieces from 4 different kits. Love how they all work together. The stamps are from a different kit as well. So I guess 5 kits were used. :)

Club Scrap's Idea Decks give you formulas to cut out paper to make 2 or more cards or layouts with very little waste. Because the Idea Deck is like a deck of cards the challenge is to use the formula given (in this case the 4 of Spades) to make a layout or a card from one of the decks you might have.

Stamping On The Edge Technique Challenge

Every month one of the Club Scrap Artist Team members has a Technique challenge. This month it was Stamping on the Edge. This is my submission for this challenge.

The stamps used are the Retreat 2016 Bouquet stamps. I used chalks to color the flowers. All paper & ribbon is from Club Scrap.

Past and Present Challenge

Ok, I'm back, I think, from my computer gaming streak. The past week has been spent, in my free time, putting past Club Scrap kits together... 8 of them so far. Their ALSB (Assembly Line Scrap Booking) system makes it really easy and fast to get kits put together. I knew I had 6 to do, but didn't realize I had more than that. I think I still have 2 or 3 plus this month's kit to catch up. Then I need to print pictures and get them on the pages.

I also made a card in the past couple days for the Past and Present Challenge at the Club Scrap Forum. I used paper from 3 old kits and stamps from 2 others. I love how Club Scrap papers go together.

I had a lot of fun making the stamped background. I sprayed some gold Tattered Angels (can you even get that stuff any more?) over the stamped image to grunge it up a bit.

2011 Project 365

I was looking through my folders of layouts and realized that I hadn't finished out the layouts for 2011 for project 365. So I'm trying to get them done. I have 2009, 2010, 2013 and 2014 done. The other years are only partially done. Guess I should get busy since the kids would like me to get them printed up into books. Today I'm sharing weeks 43 - 46. Everything used is from Weeds and Wildflowers (wish she were still designing) except the paint.

Autumn Apples

Our apple trees have been loaded the past couple of years. My hubby and I put up an 8 foot lattice fence to keep the local deer herd out of our garden and the apple trees have loved not being munched on all year. These photos are from last year. It's sad, I don't think I got any pictures this fall of the apple trees and hubby has picked most of them since we were to have some bad storms.

I used Studio Rosey Posey's Photo Groups Set 01 for the photo's. I love using these when I don't want to find a template to use. I also used A Season of Change by Sherwood Studio. The word art is from Fall Equinox by Jen Maddocks. I also used 2 edging overlays from my commercial stash since as you know I love grungy edges on my layouts. I think one was a freebie by KimB Designs and the other was a freebie by Createwings Designs (retired).

Day at the Beach

Found a cute picture from our trip to the beach. I used Kimeric Kreation's kit Shoreline (retired) for the layout.
