I took my camera out one morning to take pictures while Kirsten and I were waiting for the bus. This was one of them. I had to use a pink kit for my pink girl! The kit used was Raspberry Truffle by Osten Wilkins. This kit is of course on sale too for a couple more days.
Autumn has to be my most favorite time of the year. Nice warm days, cool crisp nights and lovely color in the trees. Here are a couple more of the pictures I took last October. These were taken at our church. I used Osten Wilkins' Autumn Blaze kit, on sale for a couple more days for 50% off... his whole store is on sale until the end of April to celebrate his first birthday as an independent designer.
Another birthday layout! lol I used Royanna Fritschmann's Birthdayz Girls kit again for this layout. Kirsten's favorite colors! This was also for a challenge at Osten Wilkins' forum.
Here is the first half of week 16. I used pieces from the Life is Good kit, Spring Fever kit and Life 365 kit all from Weeds and Wildflowers.
And yet another layout done for a challenge at Osten Wilkins' forum, this time a sketch challenge. They all had to be birthday related since we're celebrating Osten's 1st birthday as an independent designer. This layout used Birthday Pop also by Royanna Fritschmann. I had to go digging through my cd's to find birthday kits. They're just not something that I purchase ordinarily. lol
This was also done for a challenge at Osten Wilkins' Forum. This time I used Birthdayz Girls by Royanna Fritschmann at Divine Digital. The font is Scrap Oval.

This layout was also done with a kit from the Daily Digi 3 download. This kit was Summer Afternoon by Kasia Designs. Clarice had gotten the daffodils from her boss who had gotten them at the Daffodil festival the week before. They lasted for quite awhile.
So sorry I'm late posting today. This layout was done using the kit The Village Market by Scrap Kitchen Designs. It was one of the kits in the Daily Digi 3 download. I'm really loving all the goodies that come in these sets.
The picture is one I took during the fall of 2007. The color was absolutely gorgeous that year. For the layout I used Kicking Up the Leaves at Weeds and Wildflowers. The border is from their Life 365 kit.

Here is the 2nd half of week 15. I used Weeds and Wildflowers Life 365 kit for my layout. The pink paper came out of the Spring Fever kit also at Weeds and Wildflowers, a complementary kit to Life 365.
Another layout using the Life is Good kit by Gina Huff at Weeds and Wildflowers. Kirsten was disappointed that she didn't place. But she had lots of fun making and racing it.

This is Easter last year, when we had 4 kids at home. This year we'll down another one. It is so sad that they can't all be home. These were template shapes from a challenge at the Digital-Arts Cafe forum using Lynn Griffin's Touch of Elegancy kit. I have scrapped one of these photos 2 other times but I keep going back to them. Guess I haven't been happy with them before! lol
Here is the 2nd half of week 14. Same kits as yesterdays layout. This is my neighbors Star Magnolia. It is always glorious at Easter.
I made a bunch of cards near the end of March. I lost the paper that told me what I did to each card... so I'll try to reconstruct it as best I can. I finally broke down and bought a Cuttlebug and have really enjoyed using it. Now I'm wondering what I'm going to do with my old Sizzix machine... one of the originals. lol For this card the base is Club Scrap Mosaic Twist card stock. The pale yellow is paper from DCWV new Spring glitter stack paper that I embossed with the Floral Fantasy Cuttlebug embossing folder. I then swiped a Frost Versamark pad on the paper, sprinkled some glitter embossing powder I had and heat set it. I stamped a flower from Inkadinkado onto water color paper and painted with Twinkling H2O's and then spritzed gold glimmer mist onto it. That is mounted on a scrap from my stash. The ribbon is from Club Scrap.
Here is the first half of week 14. I'm so happy that I'm keeping up! What an awesome feeling that is. Weeds and Wildflower's new kits have mostly been in the same color scheme as their Life 365 kit so it makes it really easy to mix and match everything. For this layout I used Life 365, Spring Fever and Gingham Gallop kits.

Here is week 12 for Project365. I was kind of bummed that I missed out uploading my layouts on Monday at Weeds and Wildflowers, but such is life! lol Of course it didn't help that they weren't ready to upload. But they're done and now I need to get busy on week 13. Hopefully I remembered to take a picture every day when I was in Oregon. I'm not sure since I was a little bit brain dead! Guess I'll find out when I start working on that layout. As always with this project I'm using Weeds and Wildflower's Life 365 kit.
