Here is another fall card I made recently. I have a large stash of leaf stamps since I love Autumn, so I pulled them out to play. The paper and ink is all Club Scrap. The paper is from their Just Dandy kit.

Orient Express

Today's cards are from Club Scrap's Orient Express kit.

One of the stamps was a wreath. I had recently picked up a couple of Tim Holtz texture fade folders and one of them, a frame fit this wreath perfectly. So I had to make a card using both. I used Gelatos on the stamp to get the color.

This next card I stamped a background stamp from Club Scrap's Cyprus kit with Versamark to get a nice subtle background. I then used a Tim Holtz texture fade folder on it and over inked it with Club Scrap Earth ink. The sentiment is stamped on a  tag cut out with a Spellbinders die. The sentiment is from Club Scrap's Raku kit.

This last card uses a base from Club Scrap's Scholarship kit. The rest of the papers and the background stamp are from Orient Express. The sentiment is from Club Scrap's Time & Space kit. The brad and washer are from my stash. I used Club Scrap's Topaz and Earth inks.

new card

I've been playing with my paper again. This month's kit, Comfort Zone, from Club Scrap is incredible. I love all the colors and fall feel to it. Today's card is one that I made for a challenge at Club Scrap's forum.
All the papers and brown brads are from Comfort Zone. The leaf brads are from my stash. Background is a Cuttlebug embossing folder swiped with Clear Snap's bronze Mica Magic.

Here are some more cards I made this past week for Club Scrap's PSL Summer Camp. I used their Just Dandy card ALSB instructions with the Vogue kit. I'm really happy with how these cards turned out. Very elegant. Everything used is from Club Scrap.

another card to share

This card uses some of my favorite stamps. The sentiment stamp was from Club Scrap's Reaching Out kit. This was a special kit that could be purchased to help raise funds for those devastated by Katrina. I have used this stamp over and over... my 'go to' stamp. The leaves are from an old kit called Autumn Splendor. I made the background with Glimmer Mists and mounted the whole thing on card stock from All That Jazz kit. Eyelets and beads are from my stash. Waxed linen thread from Bridges kit.

Playing Again

Here is another card that I made for my CS PSL team. Glimmer mists are so much fun to use to make your own backgrounds. This card is made using card stock and stamps from Club Scrap. The stamp was from the Adobe kit. I stamped the image twice and used copper foil embossing powder on one of the images, cut the frame out and attached with foam squares on top of the originally stamped image to pop it. The card stock was from their Scholarship kit. Sentiment stamp from Dream In Color kit.

another card

I have been having a lot of fun playing with my mists! This is another card that I made for my PSL card team. I made the background paper using Memories mists and Glimmer mists. I then stamped Club Scrap's Papillon butterfly stamp on and colored with Pitt Artist pens and Twinkling H2O's. All the card stock & ribbon is from Club Scrap. The gems are from my stash. The Glimmer mists are by Tattered Angels and the Memories mists are by Stewart Superior.

Club Scrap Summer Camp PSL

It is time once again for Club Scrap's PSL (pro-scrapping league) Summer Camp. I decided to be on a card team this time around instead of a layout team. I still need books to put layouts into from the last PSL. Today I want to share a card that I was pretty happy with. I used water color crayons on a misted stamp (from CS newest kit Just Dandy) that I then stamped on water color paper. I matted this image on several layers of card stock (green from Dream In Color, orange from Bistro) on a card base of yellow from the Solstice kit... all of Club Scrap of course. The sentiment stamp is from CS's Arts and Crafts kit.

Great Grandma Love

This layout showcases a photo of my mother-in-law holding her first great grand child. Everything used is from Weeds and Wildflower. I did this for a challenge at the WW forum. We had to use 8 of something. I used 8 different alphas to make the title.

July 3 - 9

Doing the happy dance here since I'm still caught up with Project 365 layouts. Little things make me so happy. Everything used on the layout is as always from Weeds and Wildflowers. I used a template from Everyday Life, a border from Hodge Podge #9, the blue paper and freedom word art is from Hodge Podge #9 and the background paper is from Everyday Life 'The Kit'.

project finished

I love to make jewelry but have so little time for it. Yesterday while cleaning my crafting room to get ready for Club Scrap's PSL Summer Camp I found a bead cup from their Welcome kit. I was super excited to find wire and a toggle and clasp for making a bracelet in it. So I sat down right then and there to make it. I was able to get a bracelet and a matching pair of earrings with beads left over out of the cup! I'm not real happy with the the way the wires holding the charms turned out but I'll still wear it and work some more on that technique.

May 8- 14`

Here is the layout for the 2nd week in May. Everything used is from Weeds and Wildflowers Every Day Life kit. I got to the end of the week and realized I hadn't taken any pictures so I went around the yard and took a picture of all the flowers that are blooming right now. Spring has been so late this year. So everything is blooming at once. I love it! Everything used is from Weeds and Wildflowers.

Club Scrap card

Have I ever mentioned how much I love Club Scrap paper? I bought their Mother's Day kit this year and loved every bit of it. Most of it went into layouts waiting for pictures, but I took the scraps and turned them into cards. The card I'm showing today showcases metallic watercolor gelato's by FaberCastell using a stamp from the Mother's Day UM's. So much fun to play with!. The white card base is from their Vogue kit, the green is from Raku, the purple is from the new kit Papillon and the lilac print paper is from the Mother's Day kit. I used a Martha Stewart border punch and the Cuttlebug Swiss Dot folder as well.

March Project 365 layouts

Well, being sick for 2 weeks can really set you back. I've been playing catch up for the past month at least. Here are my layouts for March. Tomorrow I'll post April's pages and then on Wednesday I'll try to post a picture of some cards I've been working on. Everything used on these layouts are from Weeds & Wildflowers Everyday Life kit #2.

New Cards

Here are the cards that I put together this past month. I used to get as a side order the Greetings to Go with my Club Scrap kit. When I got these sets they just didn't speak to me and so they never got done. Club Scrap includes what they call ALSB instructions (Assembly Line Scrap Booking) with their kits which I appreciate sometimes. I really, really love making original cards, but these had sat in my storage box for too long (2 years at least). So I printed up the ALSB instructions and made them for my family to use. I'm doing the happy dance too because there is one less box in my scrapping area! The kits these cards came from are Sparkle, Bistro, Be Still, Cruisin', From the Heart & Chapter One.

April 25

Hello! I haven't totally dropped off the face of earth just off of cyberland. I was sick, sick, sick for a couple of weeks, the video card in my computer died and then life got really busy all of a sudden. But now we're past our Spring break and I'm ready to post again. I still don't have a new computer (still need to order all the parts) but my oldest son graciously let me borrow one of his old video cards that has been sitting around so that I can at least be on. I've been crafting but haven't taken any pictures yet of the final product. That is on my list of things to do this week.

Feb Project 365

This month I have 2 weeks where there are 2 pages. Those weeks had special happenings and required more photos to tell the story. Everything is from Weeds and Wildflowers Everyday Life kits.

New Layout

I've been busy playing with paper, stencils, ink and various art mediums. PSL is happening at Club Scrap right now. PSL stands for Pro Scrapbooking League. When you sign up you're placed on a team and every week given a challenge. The first week you were to use stencils. The 2nd week art mediums. And now our 3rd week we are challenged to use stamps. And of course it is all done with a minimum of 50% Club Scrap materials. I'm sharing a layout that I did for the stencil challenge. I was really amazed that the papers from their Centennial Casual kit worked for this layout.

Thanks for looking!

Club Scrap "Share the Love" Blog Hop

Today there are some of us who are sharing our love for Club Scrap. I have been a member of Club Scrap since 2005. I took a break in 2009, but just couldn't stay away I love their paper so much. Each of us have posted a project showcasing their products. So... here is mine.

My card is for my dh and is made with the super fun My Funny Valentine kit. I think that he'll like it. This kit came as part of a WOW (weekend of workshops) event. Super fun! Everything on the card came from the kit, except the white paper used for the hearts. The small hearts on top I used the stencil that came with the kit to make my own designer paper and then used the smallest heart on the stencil to trace and then cut out. They were popped out with foam dots. The ink color on the hearts is Club Scraps newest pigment ink called Blush.

January Project 365

I've had to modify what I do for Project 365. It has been very difficult to take a picture every day. In January I accidentally dropped my good camera, breaking it in the process and so the desire to take pictures is almost non existent. Thankfully Weeds and Wildflowers has helped to make things simpler. I'm doing a weekly layout of the pictures that I take. Sometimes I only have 3 pictures for the week, sometimes more. But I'm only doing 1 page a week. So far I'm happy with my decisions to cut back. I have lots of irons in the fire and need to budget my time better.

Everything used for these layouts is from Weeds and Wildflowers.

Paisley cards

Club Scrap provided a card alsb (assembly line scrap booking) for their January stamp kit 'Lotus Pond'. I loved the instructions so I decided to pull out a set of 12 8-1/2x11 papers from their March '06 'Paisley' kit to try them out. The cards turned out wonderful!

I think that I might be using the instructions with another kit some time. Everything used is from Club Scrap.

Mocha Java remix layout

I have finally started paper scrapping again. I have so much paper and really need to get it into layouts with pictures. I did this layout for a sketch challenge at the Club Scrap Community forum. The sketch is from the Private Eye kit. I used some of the Mocha Java remix kit that I have had forever. I love this paper and have had a really hard bringing myself to use it. I thought it would work well for my Chai tea latte addiction.

If you have been following my Project 365 from the past couple of years you might recognize some of the photos.

Calendar Project

I have had these CD case calendars forever... for 3 years. Club Scrap offered them when the Sparkle Stamp kit came out... December 2007. I finally got them finished and I love how they turned out. On the March - December pages I used gelatos on the stamps and then over stamped with the sentiment. I have mine on my computer desk. I think the other one I made will go to my sister. It is a perpetual birthday calendar. All stamps used are from Club Scrap.
