2011 Project 365

I was looking through my folders of layouts and realized that I hadn't finished out the layouts for 2011 for project 365. So I'm trying to get them done. I have 2009, 2010, 2013 and 2014 done. The other years are only partially done. Guess I should get busy since the kids would like me to get them printed up into books. Today I'm sharing weeks 43 - 46. Everything used is from Weeds and Wildflowers (wish she were still designing) except the paint.

Autumn Apples

Our apple trees have been loaded the past couple of years. My hubby and I put up an 8 foot lattice fence to keep the local deer herd out of our garden and the apple trees have loved not being munched on all year. These photos are from last year. It's sad, I don't think I got any pictures this fall of the apple trees and hubby has picked most of them since we were to have some bad storms.

I used Studio Rosey Posey's Photo Groups Set 01 for the photo's. I love using these when I don't want to find a template to use. I also used A Season of Change by Sherwood Studio. The word art is from Fall Equinox by Jen Maddocks. I also used 2 edging overlays from my commercial stash since as you know I love grungy edges on my layouts. I think one was a freebie by KimB Designs and the other was a freebie by Createwings Designs (retired).

Found a cute picture from our trip to the beach. I used Kimeric Kreation's kit Shoreline (retired) for the layout.

Autumn Glory

I've only gotten one picture so far this autumn. Hopefully the wind and rain that we've been getting won't strip all the leaves off the trees. So today's layout has last years pictures on it.

I used Creative Blending Template Vol 16 by PrelestnayaP Designs and Beautiful Autumn by Studio Flergs for the kit. The edgings used were from my commercial stash.

Dance in the Rain

The season of rain has come. The day I took the picture in this layout happened to be more of a torrential spring downpour. But we have had days in the past where the rain has been like this in the Autumn. It happened to be in the 60's that day so it would have been lovely to dance in the rain.

For this layout I used Dance in the Rain by Sherry Ferguson Designs and a template from 52 Reasons by Studio Rosey Posey.

I {heart} Fall

These are some of the last of my summer flowers in the garden. We had an incredibly gorgeous day so I was outside taking pictures knowing that the rains would come and the flowers would go away. The bumble bees were busy too.

I used Smells Like Fall kit by Krystal Hartley and the Fall '16 Group Template by Scrapping With Liz a freebie given in her Facebook group. I did add an edging and a paint blotch from my commercial stash to the layout. I do like grungy edges.

Cultivate

Another layout of my Echinacea, this time in full bloom. I took these pictures mid-September. The bees have loved these flowers and so have the butterflies and hummingbirds.

I used Nippon: Solids and Washi paper, Zen Garden elements and Summer Festival elements by Hat of Bunny and a template from A Little Bit Arty #2 by Heartstrings Scrap Art. The word art stamp is from Club Scrap's Garden Shed kit that came out last month. The butterfly is from my stash of commercial use items.

I {heart} Beach

We're finally getting into a school schedule so I have a little bit more time to play on the computer. So I have a new layout from our beach trip. And another one using multiple kits. I almost always have an idea of what I want to use and then have to go digging through my kit stash to find the elements that I want. Since I have been collecting kits for almost 10 years I have quite a stash to dig through. :) Sometimes I challenge myself to use what is in a kit and not add anything else. Makes scrapping more interesting.

All but one of the papers used is from Summery by Jen Maddocks. I think I ended up using 5 or 6 different papers. The template is from A Little Bit Arty #2 by Heartstrings Scrap Art. Most of the elements and one paper came from Beach Memories by Createwing Designs (retired). The 'I heart beach' wordart is from Palvinka's Fun in the Sun kit and the word text is from Sugar Sands Beach kit by Etc Danyale. Thank you for looking!

Wonder-fall

Hi! I found time this weekend to scrap a page. It is fall season and since there were lots of sales around digiland I picked up a few new kits to scrap the season.

Another layout using lots of kits. The Digital Press has a new special edition collection for October. You can mix and match the parts that you want. I love fall, so I ended up picking up quite a few parts. I already had Sweater Weather and Autumn Song kits. The template is from a new set by Jumpstart Designs called Sweet Cinnamon on the Breeze. I used elements and paper from Season of Change by Tracie Stroud, elements and paper from Wild Child by LJS Designs, elements from Magical Forest by River-Rose Designs, 'wonder-fall' from October Documented by Dunia Designs, an acorn and a couple pumpkins from Sweater Weather by Kristin Cronin-Barrow, and an acorn from Autumn Song by Kimeric Kreations.

Club Scrap Garden Shed blog hop

Hi! So glad you stopped in to see my project I made using Club Scrap's Garden Shed kit. If you didn't get here from Club Scrap's page, you will want to go here to see all the links for this Blog Hop.

My project was inspired by this post. I love Deb's project and since my hubby and I have always had a garden I've wanted a place to store all my garden seeds that would be nice to look at, organized and easy to find. This is what it looks like at this time. Very difficult to find what you're looking for!

I decided that I wanted a lid. And since my garden plans are currently on a clipboard I left off the part for the garden journal. A clipboard works better for my hubby and I to work off since we take turns in the garden. Sometimes he plants, sometimes I plant. The clipboard hangs in the stairwell ready to grab. I found a shoe box that I liked from one of my favorite pairs of shoes. Easy to decorate since it was white. I ended up getting both the deluxe kit and the lite kit this month. Did I say I like to garden? I love this month's kit! Shown are the shoe box, kits and stamps that I'm using.

First I decided how many dividers I needed, chose the papers and cut them on my Silhouette Cameo. I ended up cutting out tabs from light colored paper so that the labels would show up. I printed labels on clear shipping labels using Non watercolor font that was used in the kit. Some of the dividers are stamped and some are cut out of printed paper. I think I ended up with 35 dividers. After all I have vegetable, flower and herb seeds to sort. Oops, I didn't get a picture of the dividers. There is a picture at the end that shows them finished and in the box.

Next I decorated the box. The lid and sides got the gorgeous prints to show off. Everything got grunged up with Club Scrap Hybrid Earth Ink.

I really love how it turned out. A bonus is hubby likes it too! He especially loves having the seeds sorted by category.

Life

Life has gotten in the way of scrapping. I'm homeschooling my youngest this year and I had forgotten how huge a time commitment it is. Please come back on the 28th as I will be participating in Club Scrap's Blog Hop. I have a kewl project to share with you.

Time to be Happy

Love this little guy and his enthusiasm for playing.

I used a template from Fuss Free: As Long As I Live 3 by Fiddle-Dee-Dee Designs. Unfortunately, I didn't keep track of all the kits that I used. Multiple kits since I really wanted to match the shirt and the season since these were taken in the summer at Lake Chelan.

Time Stands Still

We have had an amazing number of birds, bees and butterflies in our garden this year. Part of it is because I've been adding to my herb bed, but also because I've been planting flowers among the vegetables. Today's layout is of a flower that I planted last year in my herb bed and reseeded itself. I'm pretty sure it was labeled Salvia, but I haven't seen anything like it elsewhere and it isn't the same as my Sage when it is blooming. Pretty none the less. I love the colored leaves(?) at the top.

For this layout I used a template from Arty Inspiration #8 by Heartstrings Scrap Art, paper and elements from Summery by Jen Maddocks and elements from Herbarium by Julie C Designs. You can find all of these at Digital Scrapbooking Studio. Little purple flowers are from Kimeric Kreations new kit Bohemian Fall. Word art is from a retired designer, Elegant Word Art by Bethany.

Climbing High

Some more photos from the beach trip. We had 4 family groups this year and so I made sure that we had 4 campsites. 2 on one side of the road and 2 on the other side. Made it so much easier to keep an eye on the kiddo's. This perfect tree for climbing on was in one of the sites. The kids loved it and was kept occupied for a long time. So sweet.

I try not to use a template twice without switching it around, but I didn't with this one. Same template used as Breathe In the Ocean. It worked for the photos. Template from The Bigger Picture #4 by Heartstrings Scrap Art. I used bits and pieces from various designers who contributed to Wanderlust, July 2016 coordinated collection kit at Digital Scrapbooking Studio.

The Deep

Another memory from our beach trip. I grew up visiting the Hatfield Marine Science Center, I took my kids and now my grands are going. Love it!

Template is from Blended Memories Album 1 by Studio Rosey Posey. Kit is The Deep by Dawn Inskip.

Zinnias

I had forgotten how much I love zinnias in the garden. They bloom for a long time in the garden and when you pick them for a vase they last a long time in the vase. Much longer than roses.

I didn't use any one kit to make this layout since the flower was such a vibrant hot pink. Most of what I used was from retired kits. I used a template from Imagination templates Vol 8 by PrelestnayaP Designs.

I used another template from The Bigger Picture #4 by HeartStrings Scrap Art. The kit is Serenity of the Sea by Created by Jill.

Beverly Beach

Ok, we had amazing sunsets while at the beach this year. The night I took this the wind was freezing so I didn't stay until the end. We had an amazing time. The day we got there was damp. But the next day was down right hot on the beach since there wasn't a wind. Amazing!

For this layout I used a retired collaboration kit, Summer Paradise from Digital Scrapbooking Studio. The template is from The Bigger Picture #4 by Heartstrings Scrap Art. Thanks for looking!

These 2 are just 2 weeks apart in age. It has been such a joy to watch them grow and develop. They will be great buddies when they're older.

Every 4 months that you are subscribed to the Digi Files you receive a mega kit. The kit I used for this layout is one of those called My Life of Wonderful. It is exclusive to the Digi Files. I used a a template from Imagination Vol 11 by PrelestnayaP Designs.

1st birthday

Life has been incredibly busy this summer. I scheduled oral surgery knowing that hubby was going to be around. However, he hurt his shoulder just before school got out for the summer. So between his appointments and mine we have not been around much.

This little sweetie is now a year old. Amazing!

I used a template from Slipping Through My Fingers (dressed up) by fiddle-dee-dee designs and Home of the Brave kit by Julie Billingsley (retired).

Laugh

Little kids love to swing and swing and swing and have a wonderful time.

Once again I used bits and pieces from the kits that came in June's Digi Files. Lots of fun to see how you can take 7 dissimilar kits and use them. I love that even though one of the kits was a baby kit there were still pieces that I could use for this layout. Template is from Fuss Free: Baby, You're a Star 3 set by fiddle-dee-dee designs.

Hi! Thank you for checking out Club Scrap's Linky party. If you didn't come here from Club Scrap, you might consider going here to check out all the links in the Blog Hop as well as any Linky party links that have been posted. June's Boardwalk kit was an awesome kit to work with. Love the colors that can be used for both Patriotic layouts and beach pictures. Everything used was from Boardwalk except both of the edgers for the background papers. They were from my stash of digi supplies by designers that have retired.

Baby Goats

My oldest granddaughter loves most things about living on small farm. But the baby goats are her favorite. They are so cute and miniature in size.

Every 4 months you're a member of the Digi Files, you receive a mega collab kit. The one I used for this layout is called My Journey My Life. Loved that the colors matched so nicely. I used a template from Fuss Free: Banner of Love 5 by fiddle-dee-dee designs. Thanks for looking!

Fashionista

Oh my. I laughed and laughed when I first saw these pictures. This little granddaughter of mine is sooo much like my sister and middle daughter. They both loved to dress up like this and usually had the same expression on their faces.

I used Fly Away by Belisae Designs from this month's Digi Files. Such a fun kit for a fun little girl. I also used a template from Big Photo Block Templates by Scrapping With Liz.

Easy to Love

I did this layout the end of April but forgot to share it. My oldest granddaughter loves her tutus and grandma tries to indulge that whenever she can.

I used Bella Gypsy's The Okayest Day and a template from Creative Blending Vol 24 by PrelestnayaP Design. The journal card and xoxo word art came from another kit and I can't remember which one. So sorry.

May Roses

My roses, like all the other flowers, are early this year. If the fall is mild I'll have blooms into November. For a long time they bloomed beautifully. Then one year the deer population in our little town exploded. Since you can't bow hunt in town any more they over run your yard and eat everything that blooms. So my roses (and everything else) started looking pathetic. I figured that if the deer ate on them another year they would be dead. However, we picked up some fish oil fertilizer that you use as a foliar feed and since we started using it the deer have left the roses alone. We also put up an 8 foot fence around the back yard to keep them out of our vegetable garden and apple trees. They're cute in the forest but horrible to have in a town in your gardens.

For this layout I used Creative Blending Templates Vol. 2 by PrelestnayaP Design and It's a Spring Thing kit by Kimeric Kreations. Thank you for looking!
