On one of my visits to my oldest daughter's family, my oldest grand daughter had to show me how she could ride her bike without trainer wheels. Turns out she had just started doing that the week before I came. So of course I had to take pictures of her accomplishment! Thankfully all of my grands love to have their pictures taken.

I used a Big Hugs 4 template by Fiddle-Dee-Dee Designs. The kit used is an exclusive kit from the March 2017 Daily Digi Files.

Fun at Grandma's

One of the things the grands love about coming to my house is eating (and playing) at the little table that I have. The chairs are a little beat up after so many kids but still full of life. I love the memories it has for me. Four generations have used this little table. It was my mom's when she was little and my siblings and I used it, my kiddo's used it and now my grandchildren.

Template by Fiddle-Dee-Dee Designs. This was a layout from an exclusive kit at Daily Digi. Story of Everyday Life is the first exclusive kit you receive when you become a subscriber. You get a new one every 4 months of subscribing.

My niece got married this summer and my two older grand daughters were flower girls. So cute! The wedding was a Disney theme so the flower girls had dresses the same colors as the bridesmaids.

I used a template by PrelestnayaP and a kit by Kimeric Kreations. Thanks for looking!

1st Day

My kids are starting to go through those "Firsts" that every parent goes through with their children. This layout is of my middle son's oldest daughter's first day of preschool.

I love my roses and always seem to get pictures of them when I miss getting pictures of some of the other flowers in my yard.

Here is another layout of my grandbabies. They're so sweet together. These two are just 2 weeks apart in age.

I used a template by Fiddle-Dee-Dee Designs and the October 2016 Special Edition kit from the Digital Press. Several designers use the same color palette and you can pick and choose which parts you want. I used bits and pieces of October Documented by Dunia Designs, Wild Child by LJS Designs, Magical Forest by River-Rose Designs, Seasons of Change by Traci Stroud and Autumn Orchard by Wildheart Designs. I love kits like these since they can be used for so many different layouts. The picture in this layout was taken July 3, but because of the colors I chose to use an Autumn colored kit.

Fancy for Christmas

My granddaughter was all dressed and ready to go to church on Christmas day and was sitting on the chair waiting for everyone else to be ready. As grandma I had to take some pictures.

Check the previous post for the links to the template designers that I like to use. This template is by PrelestnayaP.

3 Twins

Hubby and I were gone this past week on vacation. We hadn't had time by ourselves for years. He took his laptop, so I took my computer too. :) He had some work to do and while he was doing that I worked on some layouts that I will be sharing with you over the next few weeks. I did not keep track of which kits I used since I was using bits and pieces of a bunch of different ones and most of them are retired any more. I only used templates by fiddle-dee-dee and PrelestnayaP since those are usually my favorites.  I do not know if the templates I used are still available. But you can find their current ones at the links I provided.

This first layout is a favorite of mine. I love my sister dearly and I ended up with a child that could be her's they're so similar. I also have a granddaughter who seems to be cut out of the same mold. So much fun! I call this 3 twins since my sister and daughter seem like twins but now there's three!

Fiddle-Dee-Dee was the designer for this template. Thanks for looking!

June Greetings to Go Guest Artist

Just so that you know, I haven't gone missing... just really busy. June turned out to be extremely busy. You can go here to see what I've been working on this month. I was excited when Club Scrap contacted me to see if I would be June's Greetings to Go Guest Artist. So much fun!

I was also gone visiting my oldest daughter and her family to stencil on my granddaughters wall.

4 of Spades Challenge

I was able to make another card this month using part of the background I had made for the last card I shared. This card is for the Idea Deck challenge at The Club Scrap Forum. I used bits and pieces of old retired kits by Club Scrap. The paper is from 2 different kits as are the stickers, so I think I used pieces from 4 different kits. Love how they all work together. The stamps are from a different kit as well. So I guess 5 kits were used. :)

Club Scrap's Idea Decks give you formulas to cut out paper to make 2 or more cards or layouts with very little waste. Because the Idea Deck is like a deck of cards the challenge is to use the formula given (in this case the 4 of Spades) to make a layout or a card from one of the decks you might have.

Stamping On The Edge Technique Challenge

Every month one of the Club Scrap Artist Team members has a Technique challenge. This month it was Stamping on the Edge. This is my submission for this challenge.

The stamps used are the Retreat 2016 Bouquet stamps. I used chalks to color the flowers. All paper & ribbon is from Club Scrap.

Past and Present Challenge

Ok, I'm back, I think, from my computer gaming streak. The past week has been spent, in my free time, putting past Club Scrap kits together... 8 of them so far. Their ALSB (Assembly Line Scrap Booking) system makes it really easy and fast to get kits put together. I knew I had 6 to do, but didn't realize I had more than that. I think I still have 2 or 3 plus this month's kit to catch up. Then I need to print pictures and get them on the pages.

I also made a card in the past couple days for the Past and Present Challenge at the Club Scrap Forum. I used paper from 3 old kits and stamps from 2 others. I love how Club Scrap papers go together.

I had a lot of fun making the stamped background. I sprayed some gold Tattered Angels (can you even get that stuff any more?) over the stamped image to grunge it up a bit.
