4 of Spades Challenge

I was able to make another card this month using part of the background I had made for the last card I shared. This card is for the Idea Deck challenge at The Club Scrap Forum. I used bits and pieces of old retired kits by Club Scrap. The paper is from 2 different kits as are the stickers, so I think I used pieces from 4 different kits. Love how they all work together. The stamps are from a different kit as well. So I guess 5 kits were used. :)

Club Scrap's Idea Decks give you formulas to cut out paper to make 2 or more cards or layouts with very little waste. Because the Idea Deck is like a deck of cards the challenge is to use the formula given (in this case the 4 of Spades) to make a layout or a card from one of the decks you might have.

Stamping On The Edge Technique Challenge

Every month one of the Club Scrap Artist Team members has a Technique challenge. This month it was Stamping on the Edge. This is my submission for this challenge.

The stamps used are the Retreat 2016 Bouquet stamps. I used chalks to color the flowers. All paper & ribbon is from Club Scrap.

Past and Present Challenge

Ok, I'm back, I think, from my computer gaming streak. The past week has been spent, in my free time, putting past Club Scrap kits together... 8 of them so far. Their ALSB (Assembly Line Scrap Booking) system makes it really easy and fast to get kits put together. I knew I had 6 to do, but didn't realize I had more than that. I think I still have 2 or 3 plus this month's kit to catch up. Then I need to print pictures and get them on the pages.

I also made a card in the past couple days for the Past and Present Challenge at the Club Scrap Forum. I used paper from 3 old kits and stamps from 2 others. I love how Club Scrap papers go together.

I had a lot of fun making the stamped background. I sprayed some gold Tattered Angels (can you even get that stuff any more?) over the stamped image to grunge it up a bit.
